MEET JOSHUA CAMPAIGN ELECTION 2024
Joshua Rodriguez was a miracle baby born with his umbilical cord cutting off his airway; doctors feared the worst. At an early age, Joshua was taught that he meant to do something very unique. Keeping his body and mind healthy, Joshua was encouraged to be a higher achiever and graduated from Arizona State University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry with Honors and soon found himself at Northern Arizona State University studying Chemistry in graduate school. With three children and married for 15 years now, Joshua’s family is the heart of his passion for seeing a better future for our community.
Growing up, Joshua’s family participated in nonprofit work, which shaped his love of giving back to the community. For him passing on the tradition of a helping hand is essential. Joshua’s nonprofit One Arvada is his outlet for helping the youth and his effort in combating the hardships of poverty. When Joshua was seven years old, his father passed away and was raised by a single mother with eight siblings. Joshua saw and was motivated to overcome the hardships of poverty.
Currently, Joshua's work is in the area of Quantum computing. For Joshua science and technology are at the forefront of his interest. Joshua has a strong public policy foundation and has run for Mayor in 2018 and U.S. Senate in 2020.
